With the added interest the past few years in protecting the environment, web hosting providers have came up with a unique solution, with the nickname of "Green" hosting. Green web hosting is one of the newest additions to the web hosting industry and often times can be mislabeled as being inferior to traditional web hosting providers, which isn't the case at all. With green web hosting, the web hosting providers makes it a point to use the least amount of fossil fuels available, thus creating less of a "footprint" on the environment. This also usually means that the must use cutting-edge web hosting servers and equipment, that use less resources. In turn, this means you're mostly likely receiving a newer higher-performance server, that is also less strenuous on the environment. Sort of a win-win situation! That said, we have complied a list of hosts that have made it apparent to us that they are making a confident effort to maintain a environmentally conscience web hosting presence.

GreenGeeks Review
Review by: Brendan, from Indiana I recommend this host
I had never even heard of WordPress. GG are very courteous for tech support. They have videos and tutorials for nearly everything I have had to do so far. GG helped me get my site up and I can do SEO very comfortably now. I highly recommend GreenGeeks for a less experienced user, due to the exceptional value they provide in tech assistance and software available. More advanced users probably don't read reviews anyway and know what they need exactly. Read more GreenGeeks user reviews... |

Namecheap Review
Review by: Drake, from Pensacola, FL I recommend this host
They have a good plan but be aware of CPU limits for your account. Like all hosts that offer unlimited bandwidth they really cant in real life as most of you know. Its just a matter of how much resources they are going to provide to each account before they get flagged. If you have a script intensive site, Id say to pay up and save the headache by looking at a dedicated of vps account. Read more Namecheap user reviews... |

Bluehost Review
Review by: Vince, from Chi-town I recommend this host
A friend recently setup service with them. They seem to be happy with the plan and what it offers so far. I noticed they had adequate features for the price. Can't really comment on support as I don't think they had to use it yet. If anything maybe the site could run a tad faster? Read more Bluehost user reviews... |

GoDaddy Review
Review by: Russell, from Baltimore I recommend this host
For bottom dollar hosting they are ok and most small sites will do great with them. However if you have a more resourceful site I think you might be happier with someone else and pay a little more, for the added features and extra bandwidth, etc etc. AKA, you get what you pay for. Same goes for hosting usually. Read more GoDaddy user reviews... |

InMotion Hosting Review
Review by: Ty R., from Internet I recommend this host
Inmotionhosting has been our one and only choice for going on 2 years. They have what the others offer but in a better package and better quality. Yea, the price is a little higher but you get more, so it equals out. Really do try them out and you wont look back at all the other cheap hosting companies you tried over the years.
